Millwork Design Solutions was invitied to design office furniture for a new business. The client selected oak with a cordovan stain finish, and brushed aluminum was chosen for the handles and other accent trim. The overall presentation was of a rich, warm, contemporary appearance.
Accessory desk pieces consisted of two and three drawer pedestals, two drawer latera l files, storage credenzas, and open and closed bookcases.
The drawers were mounted on full-extension ball bearing slides. One lock secures all the drawers simultaneously.
The desk pieces feature solid oak drawer boxes (right) with dovetailed construction and a divided pencil drawer in the center of the desk for organizing smaller items.
